October 16 - BigRoll Shipping, the joint venture between RollDock Shipping and BigLift Shipping, will continue to operate as part of the Roll Group following BigLift Shipping's announcement that it will end its cooperation effective January 1, 2018.
BigLift announced its exit of the joint venture last week, as HLPFI reported here. The reason behind the decision was not disclosed.
Two of the BigRoll heavy lift vessels, BigRoll Bering and BigRoll Beaufort, will stay in the BigRoll fleet while the BigRoll Barentsz and BigRoll Baffin will join the BigLift fleet.
