Breakbulk event is all set for Houston
October 8 - For only the second time in the event's 23-year history, the Port of Houston Authority will facilitate host port responsibilities for this year's Breakbulk Americas Conference and Exhibition at the George R. Brown Convention Center and the Hilton Americas Hotel, which will start today (October 8) and conclude on Thursday (October 11).
According to event organisers, Breakbulk Americas is the largest and most important gathering in North America for companies involved in the shipping of heavy lift, project cargo and traditional breakbulk cargoes.
They say it gives shippers the opportunity to meet and develop relationships with the leading specialised carriers, forwarders, ports, terminals and packers that have the expertise and resources to handle oversized cargoes with unique handling requirements.
HLPFI staff will be present researching stories for our forthcoming editions so make sure that you look them up if you are attending the event.
