October 9 - Crane Rental Corporation added five cranes to its fleet during October.

The additions include a 275-tonne capacity Manitowoc 999 crawler crane, a 230-tonne capacity Link-Belt LS-298 crawler crane, two 130-ton capacity Grove RT9130E hydraulic rough-terrain cranes, and an 80-tonne Grove RT880E hydraulic rough-terrain crane.
 
"We are seeing increasing demand in almost every sector of our industry," Crane Rental Corporation president Alan Ashlock said. "We are investing in new equipment to continue providing excellent service to our customers nationwide."
 
The last 12 months have seen Crane Rental steadily add to its fleet of vehicles. Crane capacity added includes: one Peiner SK415 electric tower crane; one Manitowoc 18000 660-tonne capacity crawler crane; one Terex AC 500-2 600-tonne capacity all-terrain hydraulic truck crane; and a Grove GMK 5275 275-tonne capacity all-terrain hydraulic truck crane. In that time it has also acquired three four-axle heavy haul tractors and a high-capacity telescoping-axle dual-lane transport trailer for its heavy haul division.
