Rezayat Sparrow goes large with Liebherr

Rezayat Sparrow, a major supplier of cranes and heavy transport services in Saudi Arabia, is taking delivery of 18 Liebherr mobile cranes to mark its 40th anniversary.

The order includes LTM mobile cranes that have lifting capacities ranging from 70 to 500 tonnes, two of which (a new Liebherr LTM1500 8.1 and an LTM1250-5.1) have already been delivered and immediately deployed to a major shutdown project in Yanbu.

Raymond Cron, general manager of Rezayat Sparrow, says that the order will enable the company to expand its operational base to additional locations throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Other cranes on order from Liebherr and due for delivery include one LTM 1300 6.2, one LTM1200-5.1, four LTM1160-5.2, two LTM1130 5.1, five LTM1100-5.2, one LTM 1100-4.2 and two LTM 1070-4.2.
