Roll-Lift expands fleet with Liebherr

Roll-Lift USA has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of a Liebherr LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane.

The 220-ton (199.6-tonne) capacity crane has a maximum lifting height of 331 ft (101 m) and a working radius of 289 ft (88 m). According to Roll-Lift the LTR 1220 crane features narrow and wide track options, while being easy to transport and relocate.

Denis Brouwer, president of Roll-Lift USA, explained: “As a heavy lifting and transportation company we operate a full range of crawler cranes. Having introduced these machines to the various contractors we see that the market has an appetite for this type of crane."

“I think that the days of mechanical cranes are over, and that the LTR machines will have the future for supporting the construction industry.’’
