April 1 - Denver, Colorado based Duffy Crane & Hauling has added a Terex AC 100/4L all-terrain crane to its fleet.

The company, which specialises in the lifting and transport of heavy and over-dimensional loads, added the 120-tonne capacity crane to its fleet due to its "impressive" 194 ft (59 m) boom length and its ability to travel to jobsites without curfew restrictions.

"The combination of the crane's reach and over-the-road travel performance lowers our operating costs, and that translates into cost savings for our customers," said Duffy Cranes president Jeffrey Cummings.

The compact Terex AC 100/4L featured a standard truck width of 8.4 ft (2.6 m), which the manufacturer says makes it possible to position the crane in tight locations.

With a 194.9 ft (59.4 m) telescopic main boom and a 62.34 ft (19 m) long double folding jib, the crane also features one of the longest system lengths that can travel on four axles, said Terex.
