Fagioli has transported a 245-ton (222.3-tonne) transformer from Modena to the Ostiglia river port in Italy.
Measuring 9.8 m x 4.5 m x 3.9 m, the transformer was loaded onto 12 axle lines of SPMTs and moved outside of the manufacturing facility where it was subsequently positioned onto a Schnabel support structure.
Once secured on the trailer combination, the convoy, measuring 75 m in length, began its journey to the Ostiglia river port.
A mobile crane provided by Autovictor then loaded the unit onto a barge owned by Fagioli for onward transportation to Marghera port.
Once the barge arrives in Marghera, the transformer will be loaded onto a vessel for final delivery in Norway.
