Friderici places Liebherr order

Switzerland-based crane and heavy haulage provider Friderici Spécial has placed an order for an eight-axle Liebherr LTM 1650-8.1 mobile crane.

Friderici is planning to use the mobile crane, which was launched at the bauma exhibition in Munich, for a very wide range of projects in the construction and infrastructure sectors. “The lifting capacity and radius requirements of our market are increasing,” said general manager Jean-Paul Friderici, adding: “That is why we are investing in a more powerful mobile crane.”

The crane features a lifting capacity up to 650 tonnes.

Meanwhile, German crane service provider Knoll has taken delivery of a 350-tonne lifting capacity LTM 1350-5.1. After the handover at Liebherr's manufacturing plant in Ehingen, the six-axle crane was driven straight to its first job – a modular apartment construction project.
