Fincantieri adds with Cometto

Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri has taken delivery of a self-propelled ETH5/4E steelwork transporter from Cometto.

The ETH product range from Cometto has been designed to transport iron and steel mill products. Each trailer's platform dimensions can be customised and there is flexibility in the positioning of the operator cabin.

Fincantieri’s five-axle ETH5/4E has a payload capacity of 121 tonnes, four motorised suspension systems and a Scania diesel engine with an integrated radiator. The steering system is electronically controlled.

The Cometto steelworks transporters are self-propelled self-loading vehicles with a payload capacity ranging from 20 tonnes to 400 tonnes.
