July 18 - In Germany, Oberhausen-based Jaromin has acquired a Demag AC 250-5 all terrain crane, bringing the total number of cranes from this manufacturer in the crane service provider's fleet to a total of five.

Jaromin general manager Olaf Jaromin is of the opinion that "with a compact design and its 70 m-long boom, the Demag AC 250-5 is an extremely versatile machine. With it, we are not only closing a gap in our fleet, but we are also becoming more cost-effective for our customers and, accordingly, even more competitive."

The IC-1 Plus control system, which enables the crane to be safely operated with the outriggers extended in an asymmetrical configuration, is another characteristic that enhances the Demag AC 250-5 crane's versatility, claims Demag.
