October 23 - Kelley Equipment Company of Florida has added a compact eight-axle Terex AC 500-2 all terrain crane to its fleet.

The new addition allows the company to handle a wider range of projects, which require the lifting of heavier loads at greater heights, said Terex.

With a carrier length of 17.1 m, the new Terex AC 500-2 crane has a working height of 145.8 m using the unit's luffing fly jib. It will begin work right away, providing service on an industrial expansion project in Louisiana.

Kelley has also added a Terex Explorer 5800 all terrain crane to its fleet.

"The Explorer 5800 is a great addition to our fleet because it has 229 ft (69.7 m) of main boom and we can easily travel throughout the state with it," said Kelley vice president and general manager Russell Johnson.
