Mammoet has added to its already established fleet with the acquisition of five Grove GMK4090 all-terrain cranes from Manitowoc.

The GMK4090, launched in 2017, is the successor to the 80-tonne capacity GMK4080-1.

Wouter van Noort, managing director of Mammoet Europe and Russia, said: “We purchased the four-axle, all-terrain cranes due to their multi-functionality and one-man operation ability in the 70 tonne to 90 tonne class”.

He added that the four-axle cranes take away the need for further trailers, minimising additional transportation costs.
