New heavy lift JV targets Asia

September 17 - Sankyu and Mammoet have established a new joint venture in Singapore specialising in heavy lifting, transport and engineering services, and heavy equipment for the East Asian market - Sankyu Mammoet.

Tokyo headquartered Sankyu signed the deal with the Dutch heavy lift specialist on July 21, 2015. Both companies have an equal share in the venture.

Sankyu has a strong background in the provision of transport and construction services for plant equipment in the East Asian region. Mammoet is one of the world's largest providers of heavy lift and transport engineering services.
