October 17 - In its first offshore marine project, China-based InterMax Logistics Solution Ltd has arranged the shipment of equipment from Dalian to Singapore for Diesel Marine Dalian Ltd.

The cargo consisted of equipment used for a tower yoke, which is located in 30-40 m of deep seawater in an ExxonMobil site in South East Asia. The two main components weighed 125 and 90 tonnes respectively.

It took two days for the lashing and loading of the cargo before InterMax arranged a barge to deliver the cargo from Dalian to Shanghai, a journey which took three days.

In Shanghai, InterMax used a floating crane to offload the two main components from the barge and onto the vessel destined for Singapore.

InterMax Logistics Solution Ltd is a member both of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) and the Cargo Equipment Experts (CEE) networks for China.
