Scholpp Kran & Transport has expanded its fleet with a Demag AC 300-6 and an AC 700-9 all-terrain crane.

Scholpp has already taken delivery of the 700-tonne capacity AC 700-9. Featuring a lifting capacity of 300 tonnes, the smaller AC 300-6 all-terrain crane will be delivered in April.

The German crane operator will use the units to handle heavy goods, support the construction of bridges and lift special loads, said Terex.

Elsewhere, H.N. Crane has purchased a Demag AC 130-5 all-terrain crane. The unit features a main boom length of 60 m and has a maximum system length of 86.5 m.

The 130-tonne capacity crane is capable of erecting and dismantling tower cranes, added Terex.

HLPFI reported on February 28 that Terex agreed to sell its Demag mobile cranes business unit to Tadano for approximately USD215 million.

Terex relaunched the Demag brand, which covers the manufacturer’s all-terrain and crawler crane models, in April 2016. The sale is subject to regulatory approvals and other closing conditions; it is expected to close in mid-2019.
