February 3 - Trinidad's Ramps Logistics and its South Korean partner, Daewon Logipia Co Ltd have handled the transportation of a vertical dryer inlet separator from Ulsan to the Port of Lisas.

The vertical dryer inlet separator, which is used in the chemical and process industries when large volumes of liquid must be separated from gases, weighed 131.1 tonnes and had the dimensions 14 m x 5.8 m x 5.9 m.

"The only challenge really was the weight of the cargo and obtaining a vessel to do a single heavy lift our of Ulsan, which is not a regular port used to ship to Trinidad," said Rudy Rampersad, operations manager at Ramps Logistics.

Both Ramps Logistics and Daewon Logipia Co Ltd are members of the Project Cargo Network (PCN).
