June 15 - The Project Cargo Network has completed its representation in Afghanistan with the approval of Bati Shipping and Trading as a member.

The appointment comes just as China, Russia and four Central Asian states have granted Afghanistan observer status in their regional group, moving to consolidate ties with the war-torn nation before most foreign combat troops depart by the end of 2014.

Bati says it is an expert in project cargo and heavy lift shipments and believes that the project cargo market is set for strong growth in the region.

PCN says it is delighted to now have full and strong representation in Afghanistan, meaning that PCN Members can compete in this emerging market.

The other members in Afghanistan are Fiza Logistics Pvt Ltd and Msharib Shipping & Logistics (MSL)
