May 4 - The International Trade Hub at Port Manatee has started a series of workshops aimed at encouraging innovative commercial ties with European and Latin American businesses.
"Educating local businesses on international market opportunities while offering world-class supply chain solutions is vital to fostering enhanced trade," said Carlos Buqueras, Port Manatee's executive director. "We see these workshops - and our trade hub itself - playing an integral role in assisting businesses in identifying global growth potential, which ultimately should mean more jobs for Southwest Florida."
The International Trade Hub at Port Manatee, founded in 2014, serves as an incubator for global commerce and technological innovation.
Port Manatee promotes its position as the US deep water port that is closest to the expanding Panama Canal, offering ten berths serving container, bulk, breakbulk, heavy lift, project and general cargo customers.
