July 9 - Prangl recently transported and lifted a footbridge with a length of 36 m, a height of 3.61 m, and weighing 27 tonnes, writes Adam Flensborg Safikhany.

Its transport length of 41 m and transport height of 4.81 m presented a number of challenges.

On the route in Austria, between Obergrafendorf and Unteradlberg, the shipment had to pass though Pottenbrunn in order to avoid routes where clearance was too low. The windy and narrow sheets of Pottenbrunn necessitated multiple complex trailer movements including travelling in reverse for several hundred metres.
A 220 tonne telescopic crane lifted the footbridge into its final position over a railway line.
