July 8 - Protranser International Logistics has handled the shipment of a 158-tonne transformer from China to Vietnam.

The transformer was first transported from its factory to the Chinese port of Wuhan, before being loaded onto a barge and shipped down the Yangtze river to the port of Shanghai - a distance of around 700 km.

In Shanghai, the transformer was lifted onboard a breakbulk vessel using a floating crane, and shipped to Vietnam.

Protranser International Logistics is a member of the Global Project Logistics Network (GPLN) in China.
