December 16 - SAL Heavy Lift's largest multipurpose vessel, Lone, has loaded 11 outsize modules in the UAE for shipment to a gas plant in the UK.
Each of the modules weighed up to 388 tonnes and had the dimensions 31 m x 10 m x 11 m, and the vessel stowed an overall 25,020 cu m of cargo on board.
SAL's other vessels, Gloria and Trina, were also involved in the project, carrying a total of more than 55,000 cu m of similar modules and associated equipment from Kuwait and the UAE to the UK.
