March 25 - StederGroup, the Dutch member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) has managed the transport of port construction and dredging equipment from the Netherlands to two UK ports.

StederGroup chartered a small coastal vessel and, using a floating crane, loaded a hydrohammer of 160 tonnes, plus some accessories first, in Kinderdijk, the Netherlands.

Coincidentally, a pontoon was loaded with plug sections of 600 cm diameter in Ouderkerk a/d IJssel during high tide using a mobile crane.

Both the coastal vessel and the pontoon transferred to Rotterdam's Waalhaven area where the plug sections were loaded onboard the coaster vessel as well.

After a short voyage to Barrow-in-Furness and Mostyn in the UK, all the cargo was successfully discharged.

Two pictures below show the cargoes mentioned.
