USA-based Superior Cranes has added a Demag CC 6800-1 crawler crane to its fleet.
The 1250-tonne capacity model has a main boom length of 150 m and maximum tip height of 204 m. Superior Cranes said the unit is “perfect” for the installation of wind turbines and for heavy lifts in the petrochemical, refining, power plant and infrastructure industries.
The crane also features the Quadro-Drive on-demand system that improves operating stability, as well as the IC-1 control system.
