February 23 - Terex Port Solutions (TPS) concluded 2014 with a high order intake for various Terex Gottwald mobile harbour crane models.

Italian freight forwarder Roberto Bucci ordered a GHMK 7608 mobile harbour crane for its Flavio Gioia Terminal in Naples, while further orders came from port operators in Haiti, Chile, the UAE, Finland, Belgium and Indonesia.

The Bucci crane will begin operating in spring 2015 and will be part of an overall fleet of five Terex Gottwald mobile harbour cranes at the Flavio Gioia Terminal. The crane's 150-tonne lifting capacity, maximum radius of 54 m and lifting speed of 100 m/minute will be used to handle containerised and general cargo, as well as heavy project cargo.

Klaus Peter Hoffmann, vice president and managing director of TPS, said that the company's success at the end of 2014 was attributable to the customer-oriented market approach that it has pursued for almost six decades.
