Anti-bribery trade association TRACE International has launched its e-Gov Portal.

Alexandra Wrage, president of TRACE.

The online tool provides a collection of links to country-specific online government services.

Available in over 90 countries, the portal links to 15,000 government agency websites. Divided into categories and sub-categories, it provides information about procurement, Customs and trade, immigration and travel, taxation, among other factors.

Alexandra Wrage, TRACE president, said: "The high number of interactions a company has with government officials increases the risk of bribes required.

“As public service delivery on the Internet increases, the need for such personal interaction is reduced,” she added, noting that e-services can drastically reduce exposure to potential bribery situations.

The TRACE e-Gov Portal is publicly available at egov.TRACEinternational.org
