January 28 - Van der Vlist has built a new 950 sq m warehouse at its 50,000 sq m Zeebrugge site.

Van der Vlist Belgium can now offer 4,500 sq m of indoor storage space, 700 sq m of which is racked.

Two new specialist workshops have also been built at the Belgian site. The first measures 1,150 sq m and includes 500 sq m of specialist painting facilities. A second 450 sq m workshop comes equipped with 6 m high doors, and a 20-tonne capacity overhead crane that can be extended to 40 tonnes, says Van der Vlist

A new washing facility has also been installed, more than doubling the original size from 125 sq m  to 285 sq m

Van der Vlist Belgium managing director, Pascal Pannier, stated: "This is a big step forwards for us here, we have been close to capacity for a while now, and it means we will be able to offer more to both existing and new clients."
