February 2 - Three members of the XLProjects (XLP) network have completed project cargo deliveries to destinations across the world, including Slovakia, Colombia, Vietnam and the USA.

XLP member in Poland, Hermes, has completed the delivery of 30 units for Duslo's refinery located in Sal'a, Slovakia.

The units - one of which weighed 107 tonnes and measured 17.2 m x 3.4 m x 3.5 m - were produced by two Polish suppliers located in Kielce and Jedlicze.

After two months of preparing the necessary permits and arrangements with local authorities, Hermes completed the delivery of the units via the Czech Republic.

 

 

Netherlands based XLP member, Share Projects, has completed the transportation of 27 units of earthmoving equipment from Ukraine to Colombia, working closely with its Ukrainian XLP partners.

 

 

Meanwhile, another XLP member, FLS Projects, has delivered 5,400 cu m of oversize equipment for the 1,244 MW Duyen Hai 3 power plant in Vietnam.

The scope of FLS Projects' work included the port handling in Shanghai, China, the chartering of a heavy lift vessel and the discharge operations in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

FLS Projects Thailand also completed the transport of approximately 137 vacuum insulated pipe spools, with diameters ranging from 8 to 26 inches (20.3 to 66 cm) and lengths of up to 36 m, from Laem Chabang Port, to Freeport, USA.

The shipment had a total volume of approximately 7,500 cu m and a total weight of 750 tonnes.
