Barrus supports Vestas assembly

Barrus Projects has moved wind turbine equipment at Vestas’ production facility in Dzerzhinsk, Russia.

Located in a Liebherr production terminal in the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast region of Russia, Vestas’ facility is used for the assembly of nacelles weighing up to 72 tonnes and measuring 12.73 m x 4.17 m x 3.18 m.

Barrus Projects was responsible for the in-plant relocation of the nacelles. All transport operations were completed using the company’s fleet of Goldhofer PST/SL modules, equipped with power pack units.
