Global logistics and transportation solutions provider BDP International has opened offices in Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya.

With the additional locations, BDP now has 147 offices worldwide. Its presence in Kenya serves to provide a more comprehensive scope of logistics services to clients in East Africa.

The facilities in Kenya will begin to roll out a full range of logistics services on January 18, including air and ocean freight forwarding, Customs house brokerage, regulatory and compliance services, overland transportation, multi-modal transportation, project logistics, warehousing and domestic distribution, cargo insurance, and 3PL, LLP and 4PL solutions for supply chain consultancy services.

Timothy Muya, country manager, will head all operations at BDP's newly appointed Nairobi head office, as well as at the seaport location in Mombasa, which will serve as a gateway in East Africa for ocean cargo destined for Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and South Sudan.
