BIMCO boss extends contract

Angus Frew will extend his contract as secretary general and ceo of the Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO) to the end of 2022.

According to BIMCO, environmental legislation will be his top priority in the coming years, as well as adding value for the council's members.

Frew, who was appointed secretary general and ceo in September 2013, is also a director of Global Ship Lease and a former chief executive of the UK Chamber of Shipping.
