Compass completes Afghan airlift

November 3 - Aerospace logistics specialist Compass Forwarding has completed the delivery of a Bell 212 Twin Huey utility helicopter from Alberta, Canada to Afghanistan on a Boeing 747 freighter aircraft.

The medium-sized helicopter, which was needed for a time-sensitive project in the Central Asian nation, was delivered two days ahead of schedule.

Compass utilised a team of personnel to coordinate the entire operation, from pick up to final delivery, including ensuring compliance with export control regulations in three countries.
