Dockwise wins contracts worth USD45 million

July 22 - Dockwise Ltd has been awarded four contracts for heavy marine transport projects that include an FPSO, two jack-up rigs and a power barge.

Total revenues for these various commitments are almost USD45 million.

Dockwise has been awarded a contract from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) for the transport, loading, and discharge of Goliat, a 58,000 tonne, fully integrated FPSO. Transport of the Goliat from Ulsan, Korea to Hammerfest, Norway is scheduled for 2013. Goliat is 112 m in diameter and 75 m high.

Dockwise has also been selected by Seadrill Offshore for the transport, loading, and discharge of its newbuild CJ70 jack-up rig. Transport will be from Singapore to Norway and is scheduled for 2011. In addition, Dockwise will be transporting the Ocean Scepter, a jack-up rig for Diamond, from the Gulf of Mexico to Brazil and a power barge to Maracaibo in 2010.

André Goedée, chief executive officer: "The Goliat contract is a good example of the type of demand we increasingly see in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry for larger and heavier production platforms.
