USA-based WO Grubb Crane Rental has taken delivery of a Demag all-terrain AC 500-8 machine.

The eight-axle, 500-tonne lift capacity crane has the shortest carrier length of its class and x-pattern outriggers to provide stability, says Terex. It also comes with the Demag-patented Sideways Superlift to improve lifting performance.

WO Grubb chief financial officer, Michelle Grubb-Solaimani, said: “We make it a point to carry the latest in crane innovation and the Demag AC 500-8 features industry leading innovations that will enhance the productivity of our customers.”

Andrew Longacre, regional business manager for Terex Cranes, which owns the Demag brand, added: “We’re sure the Demag AC 500-8 will be a productive and profitable addition. (Our) cranes have a reputation for delivering a high return on investment.”
