October 11 - As Breakbulk Americas 2017 draws near, Flensborg and Associates, the coordinators of the annual charity event BUSINESSrun, hopes Houston will be able to retain its standing record of registered participants, as competition from Bremen looms.

The record, which stands at 197 registered participants, was set in 2013 from a run in Houston Memorial Park opened by the late Buddy Schurig.

With Breakbulk Europe relocating to Bremen, and so too the BUSINESSrun event, Flensborg and Associates predicts there could be an all-time record of participants according to the latest news from Bremen.

To help Houston defend its record and break the 200 mark, sign up to participate in the event by emailing your confirmation with full name, company and contact details to brhouston@flensborg-associates.com.

The participation fee of USD35 will be donated in its entirety to Houston Food Bank, which needs every single dollar it can get after this year's hurricane impact.

The BUSINESSrun will take place early on the morning of October 18, the second day of the exhibition, after which attention will be turned to Bremen to see if attendees there can rise to the challenge.
