Wolfgang Niessner will retire as ceo of Gebruder Weiss at the end of 2018.

Niessner will also retire from the Gebrüder Weiss management board, where he was responsible for the land transportation business segment.

Effective January 2019, Niessner will be succeeded by Wolfram Senger-Weiss, who has served on the company's management board since 2005. Upon Niessner's departure Jürgen Bauer, regional manager east at Gebrüder Weiss, will be promoted to the management board.
