Universal Africa Lines (UAL) has added the port of Houston to its liner service that connects the US Gulf and Mexico with West Africa.
UAL now offers up to three direct sailings per month from Houston to West Africa.
According to the port, UAL’s decision to call at Houston City Docks was based on the availability of dedicated laydown areas for project cargo as well as berth availability, which provides added flexibility for the carrier’s multipurpose shipping services.
