Weldex expands fleet with Liebherr

UK-based crane contractor Weldex has taken delivery of a 1,000-tonne lifting capacity LR 11000 crawler crane from Liebherr.

The LR 11000 unit from Liebherr features a maximum hoist height of 220 m and a maximum radius of 184 m.

In addition to the acquisition of the LR 11000 unit, six LTR 1060 telescopic crawler cranes, which feature a maximum lifting capacity of 60 tonnes, will be delivered in February 2019.

Over the last two years, Weldex has extended its fleet with 23 crawler cranes from Liebherr, with lifting capacities ranging from 60 to 1,000 tonnes.
