Australia’s Bullocks Freightmasters International has delivered mill shells and accessories from Fremantle to Durban, South Africa.

The consignment included four ball mill shells, weighing up to 112 tonnes; 15 containers; four 35-tonne crates; and 16 crates of accessories. In total, the shipment composed 57 items, with a combined weight of 845 tonnes.

Prior to the arrival of the part-chartered vessel, Bullocks acquired loading equipment, such as flatracks and 40 ft containers. The company was responsible for lashing the out-of-gauge units onto the flatracks as well as coordinating the lifting operations at the client’s premises.

It took more than three days to complete loading at the port of Fremantle and 13 days for the ocean transport to Durban. Upon arrival, all cargoes were discharged and delivered to the client in Johannesburg.
