EFG lifts off in Sweden

EFG Scandinavia, part of the EMS-Fehn Group, has installed the first wind turbine at a project site in the north of Sweden.

The Bergen, Norway-based crane specialists will erect a total of 60 wind turbines at the wind farm, which is located close to the Arctic Circle. 

As part of the project, EFG Scandinavia has imported cranes from Germany and the Netherlands, including a Terex CC 3800 crawler crane configured with a boom booster.

The crawler crane features a lifting capacity of 110 tonnes up to a height of 131 m, and has a boom length of 141 m.
