Esmeralda gets a lift on semi-sub

O&S Shipping has transported a 120-tonne yacht from Malta's Valletta harbour to the USA onboard DYT Yacht Transport's semi-submersible vessel Super Servant 4.

The flybridge cruiser, named Esmeralda of the Seas, was manufactured by Monte Carlo Yachts and floated onboard the semi-submersible vessel.

Prior to commencing the flo-flo loading operation, O&S Shipping organised the permits and paperwork for the transport, including the Customs clearance, the coordination of the arrival of the vessel and the arrangements for berthing.

O&S Shipping was also responsible for arranging the tugs and stevedores for the project.

Four welders and six divers ensured the yacht was securely stowed on the vessel before it departed for Port Everglades in Florida.

O&S Shipping is a member of Cargo Connections, a sister network of the Project Cargo Network (PCN), in Malta.
