Wangfoong crosses the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge

Wangfoong Transportation has completed its first truck move over the recently inaugurated 55 km long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge - the longest sea crossing in the world.

Officially opened on October 24, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau bridge is the first direct land-based passage to and from Hong Kong, Zhuhai, and Macau.

In approximately 1.5 hours, Wangfoong was able to complete the Customs formalities and transport the cargo from Hong Kong to Zhuhai.

According to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC), of which Wangfoong is a member in Hong Kong, the bridge significantly reduces the transportation time when compared with the traditional waterways and transport via the Humen bridge.
