Van der Merwe heads up OMA Group

May 8 - OMA Group has appointed Gerrit van der Merwe as managing director, with immediate effect.

As HLPFI reported, Merwe joined OMA Group last year as group financial director, shortly after the management buy-out of the company.

In response to the buy-out and growth of the group's activities, OMA Group has launched a new brand identity and website. According to OMA Group, it has developed a physical presence along most of the West African coast and has expanded its core business into three key sectors- ships agency, logistics, as well as oil and gas.
