November 18 - Alexander Global Logistics (AGL) transported 10,000 freight tonnes of air separation equipment from Antwerp to the inland port of Dzerzhinsk, Russia, via St. Petersburg.

AGL's director of projects Jürgen Weyhausen said coldboxes, absorbers and related equipment were required for a new plant under construction in Dzerzhinsk, and AGL worked closely with its Russian division to coordinate the shipment. The heaviest individual piece weighed 100 tonnes and measured 42 m x 5.06 m x 3.6 m.

AGL organised all pre-carriage; surveys in Antwerp, St. Petersburg and Dzerzhinsk; road studies; cargo handling and full chartering of vessels for the sea voyage and Russian inland waterway navigation. It also organised Customs clearance and delivery to the final project site.

AGL is a member of the Project Cargo Network (PCN) representing Germany, Russia and Mongolia.
