Abnormal Load Services (ALS) has transported a 36-tonne thruster measuring 5.81 m x 5.81 m x 1.35 m from Poland to a hydroelectric power station in Wales, UK.

Due to restrictions imposed by Highways England for the movement of cargo in excess of 5 m wide, ALS used a hydraulic tilt frame to bring the overall width of the shipment to 4.9 m.

North Wales Police escorted the load for the final 30 miles (48.3 km) of the route to ensure safety on Snowdonia National Park roads.
