Australian wide load restrictions for Christmas period

November 8 - Brisbane, Australia headquartered heavy equipment transportation specialist Skelton Sherborne informs of Christmas road curfews for over-dimensional cargo in Australia.

Although the curfew dates for each Australian state vary slightly they are generally that cargo from 2.6 m to 3.5 m wide will not be allowed to move between December 23, 2012 and January 3, 2013.

Cargo over 3.5 m wide will not beallowed to move between December 20, 2012 and January 3, 2013.

Skelton Sherborne says these restrictions apply to most main roads and highways and may mean that larger cargo requiring collection or delivery during the holiday season may be affected.
