The port of Tyne in the UK has appointed Mel Brockhouse as its chief operating officer.
He joins the port from NFT, an international logistics group and subsidiary of EV Cargo, where he served as managing director of operations. In his new role, Brockhouse will be responsible for the port’s operational activities, including engineering, infrastructure, rail freight, transport and warehousing.
