July 28 - Three Post-Panamax cranes bound for the Port of Houston's Barbours Cut Container Terminal have departed Shanghai, China on board ZPMC's heavy lift vessel Zhen Hua 13.

The 405 ft (123 m) tall cranes will travel with booms fully raised, and upon arrival at the Port of Houston they will replace three older cranes at Barbours Cut. The cranes, which were purchased for USD33 million, are scheduled for delivery in early October 2017.

The cranes are part of the USD700 million modernisation programme under way at Barbous Cut to increase cargo handling efficiency and capacity.
