CEVA lands Airbus spares contract

CEVA Logistics has been awarded a five-year contract to manage spare parts and components for Airbus at the manufacturer's site in Hamburg, Germany.

Effective this month, CEVA will be responsible for consolidating spare parts and components at the site from other locations across Europe, including France, Germany, Spain and the UK.

CEVA said it would implement more than 20 improvement projects to improve the efficiency at the 21,000 sq m facility, which is expected to expand in the coming years to cater to Airbus' own production development plan.
