C.H. Robinson in European expansion

September 10 - C.H. Robinson has opened a new office in Hamburg and promoted two new branch mangers to its Basel, Switzerland and D

The new road transportation office in Hamburg will be headed up by Oliver Schmidt, who joined the company in April 2014.

The new office is located within C.H. Robinson's Hamburg global forwarding branch in order to serve all kinds of supply chain and project logistics requirements.

In addition to the new German opening, C.H. Robinson has named Michel Datz as branch manager of its Basel office, and Jochen Mueller as branch manager of its Düsseldorf office.

"The addition of Oliver, Michel, and Jochen, along with the Hamburg office opening has solidified our commitment to the European region," said Bryan Foe, president of C.H. Robinson Europe.
