Chipolbrok adds port calls and anticipates new ships

July 28 - Chipolbrok has recently added monthly calls at the ports of Haiphong and Singapore to its sailings from Northern Europe.

The Sino-Polish group is set to expand its fleet of multipurpose vessels by adding six newbuildings. The Orkan type vessels are to be equipped with cranes able to handle loads of up to 640 tonnes and will be phased into the existing fleet between August 2009 and June 2011. 

The shipping line has also appointed new agencies in Spain (Perez Y Cia), France (Sea Shipping Services) and Portugal (Marmedsa Group), giving greater presence for its project cargo services in those markets.
